Tonight I tried to water the flowers and accidentally watered my son as well - okay, not accidentally, Luke just walked right into the hose several times. Some day he'll be a more productive helper, for now he got dirty, cooled off, and ran around. Good night for him I'm sure.
Note to self about gardening too - look at the weather forecast before planting flowers, almost all of my plants look dead after two days of 90+ weather. I think they needed some time to actually root themselves before a heat wave. Let's hope a little TLC will bring them back to life.
