23 Months

My little man is almost 2.  Whoa.  Here's a little bit about Luke at 23 months - probably the last time I refer to his age in months.

He loves trains, specifically any characters from Thomas and Friends although he enjoys watching videos of real choo choos now as opposed to the cartoon.

He is one heck of a picky eater.  He loves things with sprinkle cheese (Parmesan cheese) but doesn't quite understand he only gets it on pasta, will eat logurt (yogurt) all day if he could, still enjoys all fruits and most veggies, constantly asks for quesa-die-as (quesadilla) but only eats them sometimes, loves certain types of pizza pie, and would eat ice cream, cookies, and crackers constantly if we would let him.  He refuses any type of meat and pretty much any other food not listed here. 

He loves music and dancing.  He'll drum on just about anything if you give him some sort of sticks.  He repeats anything and everything you say and is getting better and better at putting words together and using them correctly. 

He has a very stubborn toddler side, says no even when he means yes, and can melt down with tears pretty much instantly.  He hits sometimes and then gives hugs as if it will make it okay.  He also has an incredibly sweet side, loves to give huggies, blow kisses, and says "love you forever" based on that book we read often. 

He still naps once a day, loves tubby time, and sleeps fairly well most nights.  He uses a pacifier for naps and bedtime and we don't plan on fighting that one as long as its just for sleep until he's ready to ditch it. 

He doesn't seem interested in using the potty yet but we are planning the transition to his big boy room real soon. 

He cracks us up constantly, thinks he is silly, wants to be best friends with the cats, and loves when he has jobs to do to help Mommy and Daddy out. 

23 months is a ridiculously busy, fun, crazy time.  Happy 23 months Luke!
