***Warning - this is a post full of complaining, read at your own risk :) ***
Being sick while pregnant sucks. I get sick on a weekend so I can't call the doctor and go two and a half days with no medicine. I thought Tylenol Cold was doctor approved but it can't have anything else behind it, well that doesn't exist! I looked up and down two medicine isles and no such product is available. It's all specific - like multi-symptom or head congestion and then contains like 4 medicines in one, boo. Saturday I sucked it up and moved on, yesterday I attempted to suck it up but apparently looked more sick than I thought, and today I just felt and probably looked like poo. So after calling the doctor I went straight to the store after work and am now properly medicated. Ooooooh yeah! Let's just hope it works. I haven't taken liquid medicine since I was a kid, but Robitussin DM is doctor approved and is geared towards both of my symptoms. Now that I'm appropriately drugged, I have a million other things to do tonight. Over and out.

Gold Medal Night
I slept like a champ last night, woo hoo! During my star performance I had some crazy dreams, our child apparently could crawl and jump right out of the womb, hah. I had another doctors appointment yesterday. Baby T's heartrate sounded good, we discussed the ultrasound results, and I have paperwork to go get more blood drawn before my next appointment. It's a routine screening for gestational diabetes. Things right now are looking good and that makes me happy. Next appointment is another 4 weeks. I'm looking forward to getting the nursery started and the crib is suppose to arrive on Monday morning! After we paint and clean that room we'll put the crib and dresser together! It will probably still be a few weeks (my one grad class ends next weekend!!!) but when we do, I'll post pictures of that too.

22 Weeks
How far along: 22 weeks
Total weight gain: Lets just say I'm pretty much on track but the scale is not my friend.
How much does baby weigh: Baby T is probably close to a pound this week! We're in month 5 already, crazy!! All of this month he is about the size of a papaya. (from here on out they go by months now not weeks until we get to the watermelon!)
Maternity clothes: All pants are maternity now and pj's are my best friend, they are so much more comfortable than maternity pants. My tops are still half and half. Still searching for cute maternity tops/sweaters.
Stretch marks: Not yet, keeping my fingers crossed!
Sleep: Sleep is good when I can get it. The next few weeks are crazy busy for me so I nap and sleep when I can but am still tired often.
Best moment this week: Buying our first baby outfit - a Phillies onesie of course :)
Movement: Yuppers, about 4-5 days a week. Nothing really hard lately though, I want him to move in the right spot so we can see it on the outside again.
Food cravings: Still pretty hungry most of the time. No real cravings though.
Belly button in or out: In and getting wide (looks pretty strange actually)
What I miss: still sleeping on my stomach, I think this will be all I miss until February.
What I'm looking forward to: I go back to the doctor Friday. I can't wait to get the nursery started. I'm excited to pick things out for the baby. I can't wait to meet him too, which I know is still a ways off! So much to look forward to!!!
Milestone: More than half way there!
Thoughts: So much to do and so little time. Okay, not really but I feel like the next 18 weeks will fly by (and I'm kind of hoping they do!) Honestly right now I'm a bit overwhelmed thinking about all of the things I need to do before February but hopefully we can seriously start working on the nursery in November before the holiday craziness. The dresser arrived in a huge box yesterday but the bed is still in the second bedroom and we haven't cleaned or painted, so we didn't even open the box yet. The crib should arrive in another big box probably in a few more weeks. :)

Second Class Citizen?
I'm getting to the point where almost all of my pre-pregnancy clothes don't fit, so we decided to take a trip to the mall tonight to do some shopping. My goal for the evening: pair of black work pants (somehow I was still squeezing into one regular pair) and some fall/winter shirts and sweaters. I ended up with one pair of pants and one sweater. It is so hard shopping for maternity clothes. Everything makes me feel huge, which I'm having issues with right now but I'll get over it, and the selection is so small. Zach jokes that I'm a second class citizen now and I'm starting to agree! We started at Kohl's, they had a whopping 2 racks of clothes to chose from!! Really? How am I suppose to dress myself for the next 4 months off of two racks!?! Anyway, I did pull a few things off and wanted to try them on. Well there are no fitting rooms near the maternity "section", I had to walk half way across the store to the misses department just to try them on. They must want me to work off the ice cream I ate after dinner, geez! Anyway, in the end I left empty handed. Next we went to JCPenny. Their selection is up to about 8 racks, which is a huge selection compared to Kohls. This is where I found the pants and one sweater. But the exciting part is, as I was trying on clothes, Zach went wandering and came back with the cutest little Phillies onesie that came with booties and a bib! Our boy is set already! And to top it all off, everything was on sale! (I love Penny's right now :)) So we checked out Motherhood Maternity and Boscov's but no more luck with clothes. Either way, out of the entire mall there may be a total of 15 racks of maternity clothes. I think this is unacceptable. So if you see me walking around with clothes that are too tight or too small, you now know why. I thought pregnant women were suppose to get special treatment, hah. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of online shopping in the near future.

Pictures!
I don't really have much new information. I'm completely exhausted (as always it seems lately) so this is going to be short and sweet. We ordered the crib and dresser the other day, they won't arrive for a while but they were on sale so it seemed like a good time to purchase them.
Here's the crib and dresser (both were ordered in cherry):
Of course it won't be in a pink room with girly bedding, but you get the idea. Here's the bedding we chose for Baby T:

2 more days of work and then a 3 day weekend, I can't wait!!! Oh and Let's Go Phillies! :)

And now here is proof that Baby T is growing, growing, growing. Don't mind the tired, blah look, this was taken last night and I was beat!

20/21 Weeks
Boy am I busy lately! Between trying to prepare for Baby T, work, grad classes, and still trying to have some sort of social life I'm beat! Last week marked the halfway point of the pregnancy (yaaay!) Baby T was the size of a cantalope weighing a rough and tough 13 ounces! I still look at the ultrasound pictures almost daily. I can't believe I'm halfway there and in another 20 weeks we'll get to meet our little boy and I can look at him everyday for real. This week (21) Baby T is the size of a banana. Now banana seems smaller to me than a cantalope, but whatever. Either way he is growing and so am I! Sleep is getting more and more uncomfortable but I am happy that he is doing good in there. I get up at least once a night and roll over about 20 times it seems. Oh well though. I talked to the doctor today and they discussed the ultrasound results. Baby T is on track size wise and no abnormalities were noted by the doctor, so I take that as a good "check up" for now :) I feel movement almost every day now. Today nothing, but I had felt at least a few kicks every day since Thursday. I still get really excited every time and I can't wait until Zach will be able to feel him kick also. We picked out lots of stuff for Baby T this weekend and I plan on ordering the crib and dresser later this week. So things are really starting to come along. I'll try to take a picture later this week because the changes are fairly noticable lately. Pretty soon I may even look pregnant to strangers!

I SAW Movement!
That's right, I saw it, from the outside!! I hadn't felt the baby kicking for a few days and last night he was back. Must have been positioned just right that I felt everything. Well the kicks or movements seemed to be stronger, so just like Sunday I sat and watched my belly. At first, I didn't see anything and went back to what I was doing. After I got into bed Baby T went at it again. So I laid there watching again. I thought I saw something very, very small when I felt the movement. So I put a piece of paper on my belly and laid very still. Then, BAM, the paper ever so lightly "jumped" on my belly! It was true he was moving/kicking hard enough to make an impact on the outside! yaaaay!
