Happy Halloween

Central PA is weird.  They don't actually trick or treat on Halloween night.  What's up with that?  It's not actually Halloween unless you trick or treat...THAT day.

Anyway, we have a ton of kids down the street from us but never get any trick or treaters.  A few years ago I stocked up on the candy, decorated the house a little bit, and anxiously awaited by the door for the kids in the costumes.  Three hours later, one small group of kids had stopped by, the night was over, and we had a TON of candy.  Needless to say, we don't turn our light on anymore.  This is the first halloween in a long time I had no candy whatsoever and it's all good.  Last year pregnant me ate more than my share. :)

Luke got all dressed up for some of his grandparents this weekend and managed to survive yet another "photo shoot" so we could send pictures to everyone else he couldn't see.  Next year when he's a little older we'll participate in more of the Halloween traditions.

He is just one happy little guy!!! I love the costume! Not to worry - we didn't have any trick or treaters either. What is happening??

Another cutie shot of your little man :>)
We had zero treaters, too, which means leftover 3 Musk. and Snickers. Any takers?
No, no, not you, Luke!

He looks very happy in his costume.
We haven't had trick and treaters for years. All the schools and/or churchs have festivals here. Guess I wouldn't want my kids going door to door either. Thanks for the picture!
