We had the first ultrasound today and got a glimpse of Baby Trimble! Baby T was wiggling a little bit, we saw the arms and legs moving. The tech there was really nice and she explained everything to us, although some of it was hard for me to see. Those pictures look kind of fuzzy at times, but she counted 5 fingers on each hand, showed us the little fluttering of the heartbeat, the arms, the legs, head, nose, and measured all sorts of stuff. The baby measured just about 2 inches from head to butt, which puts my due date at February 15th! I'm 3 days ahead of where I thought and am 11 weeks 2 days based on todays measurements. Okay okay, now to the exciting part, the pictures!!
The one below is my favorite. If you look closely you can see the head and nose. There is a little hand raised on the other side of the chest. You can kind of see the umbilical cord (it was a lot clearer in person) and then of course the butt and legs a little bit.
